Node: ImageTexture3D

X3D: 3.3
Component: Texturing3D
Status:
fully implemented

Quick Links

➨ Fields

The ImageTexture3D node defines a texture map by specifying a single image file that contains complete 3D data and general parameters for mapping texels to geometry. The texture is read from the URL specified by the url field. When the url field contains no values ([]), texturing is disabled.

HTML Encoding and Default Values

<ImageTexture3D crossOrigin='""' metadata='X3DMetadataObject' origChannelCount='0' repeatS='true' repeatT='true' scale='true' textureProperties='x3dom.nodeTypes.TextureProperties' url='[]' ></ImageTexture3D>

Fields

These are the X3D / X3DOM fields of this node. Values should usually be received / set as strings via DOM functions (i.e., using setAttribute("myFieldName", "myFieldValue") and getAttribute("myFieldName")).
Name Type Default Value Range Inheritance Standard Description
crossOrigin SFString "" Texturing/X3DTextureNode Cross Origin Mode
metadata SFNode X3DMetadataObject Core/X3DNode Field to add metadata information
origChannelCount SFInt32 0 [0, inf] Texturing/X3DTextureNode Specifies the channel count of the texture. 0 means the system should figure out the count automatically.
repeatS SFBool true Texturing/X3DTextureNode Specifies whether the texture is repeated in s direction.
repeatT SFBool true Texturing/X3DTextureNode Specifies whether the texture is repeated in t direction.
scale SFBool true Texturing/X3DTextureNode Specifies whether the texture is scaled to the next highest power of two. (Needed, when texture repeat is enabled and texture size is non power of two)
textureProperties SFNode Texturing/TextureProperties Texturing/X3DTextureNode Sets a TextureProperty node.
url MFString [] Texturing/X3DTextureNode Sets the url to a resource.
