.nodeTypes. GeoCoordinate

The GeoCoordinate node specifies a list of coordinates in a spatial reference frame. It is used in the coord field of vertex-based geometry nodes including IndexedFaceSet, IndexedLineSet, and PointSet.

HTML Encoding and Default Values

<GeoCoordinate geoOrigin='x3dom.nodeTypes.GeoOrigin' geoSystem='['GD','WE']' metadata='X3DMetadataObject' point='[]' ></GeoCoordinate>

Fields

These are the X3D / X3DOM fields of this node. Values should usually be received / set as strings via DOM functions (i.e., using setAttribute("myFieldName", "myFieldValue") and getAttribute("myFieldName")).
Name Type Default Value Range Inheritance Standard Description
geoOrigin SFNode GeoOrigin The geoOrigin field is used to specify a local coordinate frame for extended precision.
geoSystem MFString ['GD','WE'] {["GD", ...], ["UTM", ...], ["GC", ...]} The geoSystem field is used to define the spatial reference frame.
metadata SFNode X3DMetadataObject X3DNode Field to add metadata information
point MFVec3f [] The point array is used to contain the actual geospatial coordinates and should be provided in a format consistent with that specified for the particular geoSystem.
