.nodeTypes. Disk2D

The Disk2D node specifies a circular disk which is centred at (0, 0) in the local coordinate system. If innerRadius is equal to outerRadius, a solid circular line shall be drawn using the current line properties. If innerRadius is zero, the Disk2D is completely filled. Otherwise, the area within the innerRadius forms a hole in the Disk2D.

HTML Encoding and Default Values

<Disk2D ccw='true' innerRadius='0' lit='true' metadata='X3DMetadataObject' outerRadius='1' solid='true' useGeoCache='true' ></Disk2D>

Parameters:
Name Type Argument Default Description
ctx Object <optional>
null context object, containing initial settings like namespace

Fields

These are the X3D / X3DOM fields of this node. Values should usually be received / set as strings via DOM functions (i.e., using setAttribute("myFieldName", "myFieldValue") and getAttribute("myFieldName")).
Name Type Default Value Range Inheritance Standard Description
ccw SFBool true X3DGeometryNode The ccw field defines the ordering of the vertex coordinates of the geometry with respect to user-given or automatically generated normal vectors used in the lighting model equations.
innerRadius SFFloat 0 [0, inf) The innerRadius field specifies the inner dimension of the Disk2D. The value of innerRadius shall be greater than or equal to zero and less than or equal to outerRadius.
lit SFBool true X3DGeometryNode Specifies whether this geometry should be rendered with or without lighting.
metadata SFNode X3DMetadataObject X3DNode Field to add metadata information
outerRadius SFFloat 1 [0, inf) The outerRadius field specifies the radius of the outer dimension of the Disk2D. The value of outerRadius shall be greater than zero.
solid SFBool true X3DGeometryNode Specifies whether backface-culling is used. If solid is TRUE only front-faces are drawn.
useGeoCache SFBool true X3DGeometryNode Most geo primitives use geo cache and others might later on, but one should be able to disable cache per geometry node. Defaults to global useGeoCache setting parameter.
